Stanley Hotel | Stanley, North Dakota

The Stanley Hotel, a partnership between Guerdon and Target Logistics, is a modern short- and extended-stay hotel located on Highway 2 in Stanley, North Dakota. Working under tight deadlines and a temporary housing moratorium, Target purchased the property, renovated an existing 40 room hotel, and added 206 rooms to the site, bringing the total to 246.

The hotel offers oversized extended‐stay hotel rooms, a recreation center, business center, meeting facilities, and even a full‐service restaurant with commercial kitchen. Considered one of the nicest housing facilities in the region, the Stanley Hotel raises the bar for oil field workers and housing options in the Bakken.

Construction began in March 2012 and the Grand Opening was held in August of the same year – a span of only 4.5 months. Guerdon provided a full suite of services to Target Logistics including design, engineering, construction, and on‐site management during installation.

The hotel adds to the breath of projects Guerdon has completed in the Bakken. Previous projects were primarily workforce housing related, lodges and man camps. This is the first of Guerdon’s projects in the region that is open to the public.
