2017 Awards of Distinction: Best Permanent Commercial Housing Project – 3 Years in a Row

We are excited to announce that we received four Awards of Distinction at the Modular Building Institute’s 2017 World of Modular Annual Convention in Tucson, AZ.

For the 3rd year in a row, Guerdon was presented the prestigious 1st Place Award for Permanent Commercial Housing. This time the award was for our work on Eviva Midtown, a 118 unit, five-over-one, type 3 apartment building located in downtown Sacramento, CA.

The other three awards Guerdon received were recognizing the work we have done to promote modular construction for the hospitality industry. The Courtyard Prototype that we sent to Orlando, Florida (and will soon send to Los Angeles, CA for Marriott’s owner conference) received two Awards of Distinction, one selected by the judges and the other voted on by conference attendees as Best of Show. The fourth award was a collaborative effort with Marriott, a video explaining the benefits of Modular construction for the hospitality industry: Why Modular? Why Now?
